HER HIPPO
My Hippos were born...
While planning a reunion with some of my closest friends, we agreed that it would be fun to exchange gifts which were meaningful in some way. I immediately knew that I wanted to give them a sculpture of some sort, so why not a sculpture that they could wear? The Hippopotamus came to mind… I felt drawn to its reassuring round form, even before I discovered that it was considered a protector of women in mythology... perfect!
