Hand-sculpted Lion of Judeah pendant

INSPIRATION: The lion of the tribe of Judah is the Old Testament symbol of strength, majesty and nobility in triumph. In Christianity, the Lion of Judah reflects one facet of Christ’s dual nature: gentle as a lamb yet fierce as a lion. The Hebrew character ‘lev’ means heart, as well as understanding and wisdom, the qualities that temper the bold heart of the lion. The olive branches represent peace to offset its ferocity. I chose the ‘rampant’ pose inspired by heraldic lions to express the intensity and power of the king of beasts and his roar- the power that breaks the seven seals and opens the scroll of destiny.

The pendant is part of the limited number series (only 500 will be made and each piece will be numbered in the back).
