Hand-sculpted Saint George and the Dragon pendant.

INSPIRATION: They say that Courage is the mother of all virtues because none of the others are possible without it.
Our dragons take many forms, and often we pretend they’re not there.
But we know, and we pay them tribute in one form or another. The tasks we put off, the words we never say, the barriers we put up...
The good townspeople of Silene in Lybia went about their business every day, but once a month they cast lots and fed their sons and daughters to the dragon who lurked outside the massive stone walls.
Until one fine Spring morning, St George rode out of the city gates and faced the terrible beast. Having slain the dragon, he went on his way but a healing spring rose out of the spot stained by the Serpent’s blood.
We know where our dragons lie, and we also know what to do about them. But sometimes we need reminding.

The St. George pendant is part of the limited number series (only 175 will be made and each piece will be numbered in the back).
