Hand-sculpted Ox pendant.

ABOUT: In the Chinese zodiac, the ox is celebrated for its strength and generosity of spirit. These powerful animals are loyal, honest and untiring, and imbued with a quiet nobility. Unlike the more fiery bull, the ox is a gentle and patient beast. In Greek mythology, the queen of the gods, also known for her strength and loyalty, was “ox-eyed Hera” due to her soft, gentle brown eyes. I wanted the moon to express the ox’s calm, tranquil power and stillness, while the Chinese character (‘’’’) means ‘strength’.

The Ox is part of the limited number series (only 175 will be made and each piece will be numbered in the back).

Please allow approximately 3 weeks for delivery and 3 to 5 weeks for the two-toned.
