Hand-sculpted double-headed Capricorn pendant (aka Heather’s Capricorn).
INSPIRATION: The motif of the twin goat heads was inspired by this beautiful Ionian coin from the 5th century BCE depicting facing bulls. Capricorn’s are known to be over achievers and strong but modest - they mainly strive to prove things to themselves not others - the double heads facing each other symbolizes this aspect of the sign. The birch tree in the center is the Celtic astrological sign that corresponds to Capricorn in the Western zodiac. As one of the first trees to put out new leaves in the Spring, the Birch is associated with rebirth and new beginnings. Fittingly, people born in this sign are said to be resilient and determined, with a capacity for renewal making them strong and natural born leaders. The tree and its roots are also significant for the reliable and grounded earth sign Capricorn.

The Capricorn is part of the limited number series (only 175 will be made and each piece will be numbered in the back).
